Question of the Week: Spotted Cucumber Beetle

Last week the question was:  What is this insect?

This is a spotted cucumber beetle.  This beetle can be observed on a number of different vegetable hosts and can be a pest.  On rapeseed, feeding damage can cause flower abortions.  For more info, check out this UC Davis page.

    Azalea leaf gall. Cut ’em off and get rid of ’em!
