Question of the Week: Daffodil

Last week the question was:  What kind of flower is this?


Daffodils are among the first flowers to bloom as the weather warms up indicating the beginning of spring.  Daffodils are perennial plants that grow from bulbs each year and then die back shortly after flowering.  There are a variety of colors including yellow, white, orange, or a combination of the three.  They are finishing up blooming now in most areas and starting to die back.
