Question of the Week: Flea Beetle

Last week the question was:  What is the insect on this cucumber transplant?

This is an adult flea beetle.  They can be common pests on a large number of crops.  Flea beetles cause damage by chewing little holes in the leaves that can be quite extensive at times.  Sometimes the adults are difficult to find because they can hop away when disturbed.  Take a look at this website for more info.
