Question of the Week: Tracks

Last week the question was:  What three animals left tracks on this washed out road?

From the left of the photo, we have a heron, bobcat, and raccoon.  The heron tracks look a little like turkey tracks in this photo, but other tracks adjacent to these showed a large digit pointing backwards.  It would have been interesting had all three been there at the same time.

Here is this week’s question:  Why did this grasshopper climb to the top of this plant just before he died?  A number of other grasshoppers nearby did the same.
